Again this week I’m just going to post the rankings, then I’ll explain how some guys made the jumps they made. Again, I’m new at this for NASCAR so if any of you have any thoughts, I’m all ears.

#5 Erik Jones (LW: 4)
#4 Brad Keselowski (LW: 13)
#3 Denny Hamlin (LW: 1)
#2 Kyle Busch (LW: 2)
#1 Kyle Larson (LW: 7)
OK, so the one I’m thinking I have to explain would be Kyle Larson. Last week his seventh place finish earned him 38 points in my system, which magically enough was good for seventh in the rankings. This week he was only 12th, but he led 142 laps. That gave him 56.4 points this week and 94.4 for the season. The margin is thin; Keselowski is just 0.8 points behind Larson. But, I’m not 100% confident in my rankings. Am I putting too much into laps? Is there anything I am missing? Please let me know by e-mailing me here. Thanks in advance!
